OLHA PASICHNYK (Poland) - Chairwoman of the jury

Olha Pasichnyk was born in the family of scientists in Rivne. She graduated from Kyiv Conservatory, class of Yevheniia Miroshnychenko, and finished the post-graduate studies at F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. In 1992, she debuted at Warsaw Chamber Opera, and four years later she performed at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. Since then, the distinguished international career of Olha Pasichnyk has begun.
In the repertoire of the singer, there are more than 40 opera parts which she successfully performs at the stages of the greatest opera houses of the world. Olga Pasichnyk is the prize winner of the International Vocal Competition 's-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands), of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels (Belgium), and the Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition in Helsinki (Finland). She was twice awarded by the International Opernwelt magazine in the category Singer of the Year (2005 and 2010).  Olha Pasichnyk is the winner of Munich Opera Festival Award (2006), she twice received Phonographic Prize "Friederick", Orpheus (Prize of the Festival "Warsaw Autumn", 1999), was awarded the Polish Golden Cross for Merits (2001), the Order of Merit to the Republic of Poland (2012) and others. Olha Pasichnyk has recorded more than 50 CDs and DVDs for such phonographic companies as Naxos, Opus 111, Harmonia Mundi, DHM (Sony Music), and others.
